Fleet Feet Sports To Open Second Location in Oro Valley

May 20, 2013 -- Fleet Feet Sports Tucson (www.fleetfeettucson.com), established in 2004, will open its second location at 7607 N. Oracle Road, in Oro Valley, Arizona in early August 2013.  Fleet Feet Sports specializes in fitting people in the right footwear, apparel and accessories for an active lifestyle and offers training programs for anyone who wants to run – from beginners to marathoners. 

Fleet Feet’s current location at 7301 E. Tanque Verde Road has been named one of the top 50 Best Running Stores in America seven years in row.  In addition to its unmatched customer service, Fleet Feet has trained hundreds of runners through its year-round training programs.  Both Fleet Feet stores in Tucson will be owned and operated by Pete and Jeanne Snell.  Fleet Feet is the nation’s largest running specialty franchise with over 100 stores across the United States.

Local specialty running retailer recognized as one of the country’s best atceremony at The Running Event in Austin, Texas

AUSTIN, Tex. (Jan. 8, 2013) – Fleet Feet Sports Tucson, a local specialty running retailer located at 7301 E. Tanque Verde, was recently recognized as one of The 50 Best Running Stores in America® for the seventh straight year by two leading trade and consumer publications Running Insight and Competitor Magazine.

Fleet Feet Sports Tucson once again took its place among the country’s elite retailers following an extensive nomination and review process that rated the store on its service, product knowledge, merchandising and its community service.

A panel of industry experts from Franklin Resource Group mystery shop nominated stores to evaluate on 20 different aspects of retailing, including product knowledge, environment and community involvement.
