Come Train with Us this Winter!

Do you want to take your fitness to the next level this spring? Are you ready to challenge yourself? Are you hoping to improve your performance from last season? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, our Fleet Feet Training Groups are for you! We have a variety of upcoming opportunities on both the east and northwest sides of Tucson, so see the schedule below and check out our website for more information.  

 

New Balance No Boundaries 5K Program for Beginning Runners

The next session of our popular New Balance No Boundaries 5K training begins Tuesday, December 17 at 6 p.m. This 12-week training program is designed for people of all ages and fitness levels. We use a run/walk method to build mileage and endurance gradually, allowing your body to adapt to new levels of impact. Cost for the program is $100 and our target race is the Marana 5K Run/Walk on March 1.
 

Saucony Running 201 10K Program for Intermediate Runners

We will start a new session of Running 201 on Monday, January 13 at 6 p.m. The group will meet once weekly at various locations. This program targets people who are currently running 2-3 miles and would like to build to 6-7 miles. We use a run/walk method to build mileage and endurance gradually, allowing your body to adapt to new levels of impact. Cost for this program is $100 and includes a training plan, tech shirt, race entry and experienced coaching. 

Brooks Distance Program 

Our 16-week Distance Group kicks off Saturday, December 14 at Fleet Feet. We will meet twice weekly -- Wednesday evenings for a track workout and Saturday mornings for our long run.  The goal race is the Arizona Distance Classic Half Marathon on March 23, but it's not necessary to race to be a part of the program. Program cost is $100, which includes a detailed training plan, technical shirt and experienced coaching.   

Brooks Marathon Program

Are you ready to take on the challenge of the marathon? We're kicking off our 22 week Spring Marathon Training Program on Saturday, January 11, and the program will target marathons in mid-May and June of 2014. Program cost is $175, which includes a detailed training plan, 2 coached workouts per week, a technical t-shirt and camaraderie! Stay tuned for more details.
