It's time for Fall Training!

Fleet Feet Sports sponsors a variety of training groups offered through Southwest Endurance Training. Fall groups will kick off off soon and registration is now open, so hurry and reserve your spot today.  All programs are intended to be non-competitive, fun, educational and focus on helping individuals meet their goals.  Designed and managed by Jeanne and Pete Snell, RRCA certified coaches, our programs have been changing lives for a dozen years.  We want to help change yours!

Join us for one of two information sessions this month to learn more all of our training opportunities:

RUNNING START – 5K PREP
Formerly No Boundaries, this is a 12-week training program designed for people of all ages and fitness levels who want to gradually ease into running or maintain a distance up to 3-4 miles. This group meets once a week. We incorporate a run/walk technique to allow the body to adapt to new levels of exercise and insure no one gets left behind. 

Starts: 6 pm, Tues., Aug. 23 (East & Northwest) and 6 pm, Thurs., Aug. 25 (NEW! Southeast)
Registration Fee: $125 (5K race included)

KEEP RUNNING - 10K PREP 
This is a 14-week training program designed for people of all ages who can already run/walk 2-3 miles. This group meets twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The NEW 10K group meeting in the Southeast area will meet once a week on Thursdays.  We incorporate a run/walk technique to allow the body to adapt to increased levels of exercise and insure no one gets left behind.

Starts: 6 pm Mon., Aug. 8 (East & Northwest) and 6 pm, Thurs., Aug. 10 (NEW! Southeast)
Registration Fee: $125 (race not included) 

DISTANCE RUNNING – 15K to 13.1M PREP
This is a 14 to 16-week training program designed to prepare runners for distances up to a half marathon. This group meets twice a week on Wednesday evenings (track) and Saturday mornings (long run). Because this group trains for multiple late Fall races, training plans and long runs are adjusted to meet the target race of your choice within a two-month window in the Fall of 2016.

Starts: Saturday, Aug. 6 (East & Northwest)
Registration Fee: $125 (race not included)

MARATHON TRAINING – 26.2M PREP
This is a 20-week training program designed for people of all ages who can already run or run/walk 8 miles when it begins on Sept. 24. This group meets twice a week on Monday evenings (track) and Saturday mornings (long run).  Because participants in this group will be training for multiple late 2016/early 2017 races, training plans and long runs are adjusted to meet the target race of your choice within a two-month window.

Starts:  Sat., Sept. 24
Registration Fee: $200 (race not included)
